Regulatory Status

The professional framework the practice operates under, and the standards applied to every engagement.

01

The practice

M K Pandey & Associates is a firm of Chartered Accountants established on 11 June 1998, with its head office in New Delhi and further offices in Mumbai and Varanasi. CCP Global is a separate sole proprietorship and does not undertake work reserved for Chartered Accountants under the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949; such work is carried out by M K Pandey & Associates. Its professional work is carried out subject to the regulations and pronouncements of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

02

Professional standards

Assurance engagements are conducted in accordance with the Standards on Auditing issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and reporting follows the financial reporting framework applicable to the entity, including the Companies Act, 2013 and Indian Accounting Standards where these apply.

All partners and staff are bound by the Code of Ethics issued by the Institute, which governs integrity, objectivity, professional competence and due care, confidentiality and professional behaviour.

03

Independence and conflicts

Independence and conflict checks are completed before an engagement is accepted. Where a relationship, interest or prior service would create a threat to independence that cannot be reduced to an acceptable level by safeguards, the engagement is declined.

Assurance engagements are structured to remain independent of any advisory work the firm provides, and the firm does not accept assurance work where doing so would place it in the position of auditing its own advice.

04

Quality and review

Every deliverable is reviewed by the engagement partner before it is issued. Working papers are maintained to support the conclusions reached, and findings are discussed with management before a report is finalised.

05

Confidentiality

Client information is treated as confidential as a matter of professional obligation. Access is limited to the engagement team, and confidential documents are exchanged through an access-controlled client portal with authenticated sign-in and an access trail rather than by unsecured email. Further detail is set out in our Privacy Policy.

06

International affiliations

The firm holds active professional affiliations in the United Kingdom and the United States. These affiliations support cross-border engagements, international taxation and FEMA advisory, and foreign accounting and outsourced finance work. They are professional affiliations and advisory arrangements; the firm’s offices are in India.

07

Scope of services

The firm provides assurance and statutory audit, tax and regulatory, risk advisory and governance, forensic and due diligence, virtual CFO and managed finance, financial and transaction advisory, business consulting and transformation, corporate compliance and governance, and technology and automation services. Services are provided only where the firm is permitted to do so under the applicable professional regulations.

08

Concerns and complaints

Concerns are investigated and responded to in writing. Recourse to the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India remains available in the circumstances its regulations provide for.
