Privacy Policy
What personal data this website collects, why we collect it, how it is protected, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
This website is operated by CCP Global, a sole proprietorship, in association with M K Pandey & Associates, Chartered Accountants, a separate firm of Chartered Accountants, both of 3rd Floor, S-46, Meenakshi Garden, Near Subhash Nagar Metro Gate No. 3, New Delhi 110018, India. For the purposes of this policy we are the data fiduciary in respect of personal data collected through this site.
What we collect
Enquiry form. When you submit the contact form we collect the name, email address, telephone number, organisation, practice area and message that you provide, together with your consent to be contacted.
Client portal. If you are an authorised portal user we process your account identifiers, authentication data and the documents and correspondence exchanged through the portal in connection with your engagement.
Technical data. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which include IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are used for security, diagnostics and to keep the service available.
We do not ask for financial account credentials, payment card details or government identification numbers through the public forms on this website.
Why we use it
We use personal data to respond to your enquiry and to assess whether we are able to act; to carry out client acceptance, independence and conflict checks; to deliver and administer professional engagements; to operate and secure the client portal; to meet our legal, regulatory and professional obligations, including record-keeping required of a Chartered Accountancy practice; and to maintain and improve this website.
Basis for processing
We process enquiry data on the basis of the consent you give when submitting the form. Engagement data is processed to perform the contract between us and to comply with the legal and professional obligations that apply to our work. You may withdraw consent to marketing or general correspondence at any time; this does not affect processing we are required to carry out in order to meet a statutory or professional obligation.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.
We may share information with service providers who support the operation of this website and our practice, such as hosting and email providers, who act on our instructions; with regulators, courts or authorities where we are required to do so by law or by professional regulation; and with professional advisers or affiliated professionals where this is necessary for an engagement and permitted by our duty of confidentiality.
Confidentiality and security
Client information is treated as confidential as a matter of professional obligation, independently of this policy. Access is restricted to the people who need it for the engagement.
The client portal is served over an encrypted connection, requires authenticated sign-in, restricts each account to that account holder’s own documents, and records an access trail. Document exchange through the portal is preferred to email attachments for anything confidential. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we take the measures we consider appropriate to the sensitivity of the information involved.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are retained only for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and to evidence how it was handled. Engagement records are retained for the periods required by the applicable statutory, tax and professional record-keeping rules, and are then deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Subject to the limits set by law and by our professional obligations, you may ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete, ask us to erase it where we are not required to keep it, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, and nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the circumstances the law allows.
To make a request, write to contact@theccpglobal.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies necessary for it to function, including those set by the client portal to keep its users signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although the client portal will not be able to keep you signed in if you do.
Grievances
If you are concerned about how your personal data has been handled, please contact us at contact@theccpglobal.com and we will look into it. You also retain the right to raise the matter with the relevant data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practice or in the law. The version published on this page is the version that applies, and the date above shows when it was last revised.
